Say Cheese!
Say Cheese! is the eleventh episode of season 2 of The Cuphead Show! and is the twenty-third overall. Here, the Elder Kettle decides that he wants a family portrait, and decides to take his boys with him, a decision that would bite the Elder Kettle's butt.
Synopsis
Elder Kettle wants to snap a family portrait of him and his boys -- and, boy, does he get it. Just not in the picture-perfect setting he was expecting.
Plot
Today is the day for Elder Kettle wants to take Cuphead and Mugman to take a family picture while the Cup brothers don't want to, and constantly get into fights and arguments on whether going to an Amusement Park or a Movie Theater while Elder Kettle had to stop all the fighting. Cuphead and Mugman are prepared to go out but got into another fight but cheered them up by convincing them that they will go to either an Amusement Park and a Movie Theater after their family portrait. But they realized something and told that Elder Kettle wasn't good at keeping promises in regards to going to other places, however, he disregards it and they go out to a perfect place for a picture.
They find the perfect spot behind a billboard advertising vehicle tires due to Cuphead and Mugmans fighting. They are now getting the picture, but the long time to take a picture drained Cuphead and Mugman's patience and got into yet another fight. They hit the billboard revealing an old advert about Baby Elder Kettle, the fight stops as Cuphead and Mugman see the advert and laughed at it until Elder Kettle sets fire to the billboard to prevent further embarrassment. They ride home and Mugman asks for info about that Baby Elder Kettle thing and Elder Kettle told a tragic tale of being bullied from getting stuck having an identity as Diaper Baby when he was young, he will unleash his inner pyromaniac to do anything in getting rid of everything related to those "Brutally embarrassing Baby Elder Kettle stuff".
The family arrived back home to as Elder Kettle walks to the bedroom sobbing, Cuphead and Mugman get mad at him for not taking them to the amusement park and the movies, with Mugman stating that they came to their "end", but Elder Kettle scolds them for fighting and breaks down sobbing as all he wanted was a good family picture. The boys don't even feel sorry for their Elder Kettle, only about themselves not going to get some fun, so they will do anything to cheer up, until they start planning to make photos of Baby Elder Kettle to laugh at forever... Then, Elder Kettle had gotten 80% full insane and turns into a spider, he will do anything to prevent them from make photos of Baby Elder Kettle, he will do anything to get rid of Baby Elder Kettle, he will do anything to cease and desist the existence of Baby Elder Kettle...
Elder Kettle and Cuphead crashed and then they see Mugman holding the camera looking like he might have ill intentions to do with it. Cuphead tries to get Mugman to hand him the camera, but due to Cuphead not agreeing to go to the movies, Mugman refuses. Elder Kettle pushes Cuphead and tries to lecture Mugman into giving him the camera, but Mugman, once again, refuses due to Elder Kettle not bringing him to the movies. Then Cuphead pulls Mugman away and begin start planning on blackmailing Elder Kettle to go to the Amusement park and movies, stand up against Elder Kettle, declaring that he needs to make his promises, prompting the family got into a fight for the camera, but they got it destroyed and lost their pictures as Cuphead and Mugman break down sobbing while yet again fighting about that amusements and movies.
Elder Kettle, wanting to punish Cuphead and Mugman for fighting, ruining the picture, and blackmailing him, tries to slice them as a chase ensues. Meanwhile in the city, Cuphead and Mugman came across the Bee Police officers, who suspect them being the escaped convicts of the cookie factory, and also suspects Kettle to being a criminal for burning Diaper Baby Billboards, and now the officers chase Cuphead and Mugman and Elder Kettle, eventually catching them.
The Episode ends with Cuphead, Mugman, and Elder Kettle now under arrest. Despite this, Elder Kettle is satisfied that they are getting a family picture. Cuphead and Mugman are now going to spend days in Prison, again, But this time, with Elder Kettle.

- The title is a reference of Say Cheese when taking a picture.
- When Elder Kettle falls down the stairs, he makes the pose similar to Peter Griffin from Family Guy.
- Given how Kettle, Cuphead, and Mugman were back at the cottage in the next episode, it's possible they were either bailed out of jail, served their time, escaped, or did something to get things sorted out as they were released.
- On Netflix, this episode is incorrectly titled as "Say Cheese".
