The Icy Sugar Cubes are one of the ingredients of the Wondertart. They are held by Mortimer Freeze in the level Snow Cult Scuffle.
Appearance
Ingredient
Icy Sugar Cubes are sugar cubes with small grains, a slight tint of blue to emphasize their native home being cold, and a layer of snow on them. They are put in the bucket hat of the Snow Monster.
Battle
In A Dish To Die For, Icy Sugar Cube is sentient and is a full block of sugar cube. He wears a chef hat with "SUGAR" written on it, yellow gloves, and brown shoes. He has black rubberhose limbs, red nose, and a rosy cheek with some grains acting like freckles. Upon being mutilated in one of the attacks that Chef Saltbaker uses for his fight, the Icy Sugar Cube is reduced to smaller cubes that are each about 1/7th his original size in each dimension, and his mouth vanishes.
Characteristics
It is one of two pre-ready ingredients seen in the intro of the fight against Chef Saltbaker, the other being Desert Limes, that Saltbaker would push away as his first attack on the player.
In the first phase of Chef Saltbaker's fight, Chef Saltbaker would bring up and shatter the cube with a stake in one of his hands and a hammer in his other, levitate the pieces with some of his magic, and then blow them away which will move in a wave pattern across the screen with some of the pieces can be parried.
