Sir Waffington III
"Straight off the iron and too hot to handle!"
—Sir Waffington III, Death Screen
Sir Waffington III is one of the multiple minor bosses fought in the Sugarland Shimmy boss level of Inkwell Isle Two. She is a subject randomly summoned by Baroness Von Bon Bon, the level's primary boss.
Description
Appearance
Sir Waffington III is a large, brown-colored, slightly cube-shaped, flying waffle with squarish eyes and nutcracker-like teeth. Her "hat" and a pair of wings appears to be made out of butter.
Battle
She will be selected randomly by Baroness Von Bon Bon for the first phase of the boss battle. Sir Waffington III, after being selected, flies around the arena and will split herself into 9 pieces in a spread attack and reverts back to her original form. In Simple mode, she doesn't do anything besides fly around. In Expert mode, she will only shoot either in the four cardinal directions at first, and then fire the diagonals, or vice versa; she has a shorter delay to split again.
When defeated, she will break apart as if she was doing her attack but the pieces will fly off the screen and the teeth section will implode on itself and disappear. Hitpoints = 250/250/305

Trivia
- Sir Waffington III's name is not canon but rather a pet name given by the animator Tina Nawrocki in her Twitter post when asked by a fan. Same apply to Baroness' other subjects.
- She was simply referred as "Waffle" in the game files.
- In the translation notes given to the translators, the developers requested that Sir Waffington III should be female, contradicting the title "Sir", another reason for it to not be canon.
- Sir Waffington III is often mistaken for a chocolate bar due to the brown color, rectangular pattern design, and the fact that chocolate bars can also be split into an a number of pieces. However, the butter wings and on top of her is the sign of her being a waffle.
